Research in US found that in women specially black who achieve success in life or keen to achieve fame and money in life most of them have the propensity to restrict marriage in their life. May be Michelle Obama may have become an exemplary African-American female achievement story — law career, strong marriage, happy children — but the authenticity is repeatedly very diverse for other highly educated black women. Day by day black women confront a sequence of challenges in finding the way of education, career, marriage and child-bearing problem that over and over again force them to be dressed in spending single life and childless even when they’d have a preference marriage and family, according to a research study recently presented at the American Sociological Society’s annual meeting in San Francisco.  HoweverYale researchers Natalie Nitsche and Hannah Brueckner was in argument that “marriage chances for highly educated black women have declined eventually in comparatively to the white women counterpart.” They explained that women of both races with postgraduate or achieve high degree in educations “face particularly hard choices between career and motherhood,” they said, “but especially in the absence of are liable partner.” And there’s the massage. Another noted in a recent Sexploration column, converse to old media reports, most educated, professional women who want to marry can and do marry. Although the reality is quite worse for high-achieving black women because “marriage markets” for them have declined to the point that many remain unmarried, the researchers found.

In view of the fact that these women also be aware of pressured not to become single mothers, they often go childless as well, the researchers found.  Nitsche and Brueckner in their study used data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey of 50,000 households dating back to the 1970s to make fun of out data points on race, gender, education, marriage and fertility. Hence it was found that among black women with postgraduate educations born stuck between 1956 and 1960, the middle age at which they gave birth for the first time was 34 years old. However this was in relation to the same as it was for white women in the same demographic.

Although once white women reached their 30s, many more of them did give birth, over and over again more than once. A lot of black women did not. The rate of childlessness in the middle of this group of black women rose from 30 percent for those born between 1950 and 1955, to 45 percent for those born between 1956 and 1960.
